0n site in Almont, MI until shifted to new facility is located in metro Detroit Keys 5-7 years experience working in operations, services or engineering management for an industrial automation or industrial manufacturing oriented business Must have experience within the Robotics Industry and Automation experience Experience managing a services, or automation integration oriented team in the robotics and/or electronics control and repair industry a significant plus Experience directly managing people, production, engineering for automation integration or aftermarket services for industrial businesses Experience with creating and using performance metrics to manage a team Experience managing budgets (revenue, margin, profitability) Experience understanding capabilities and skillsets of team members to plan and schedule work effectively Ability to manage tasks for a team such that distribution of work is fair, performance is efficient, and all tasks are completed on time and with high quality Strong understanding of shipping and logistics concepts Experience using ERP or production management software Facility Merger and Facility Development experience a significant plus Duties Oversee daily operations of two production facilities located in Southeastern Michigan and support other company locations as needed Responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the leadership teams of each operational location Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions Oversee the leadership of labor and production requirements for Production and Warehouse Operations teams for each location Oversee the leadership of scheduling and assignment processes for repair work orders to ensure technician skillsets appropriately match job requirements Works with local site leadership to drive best in class performance from technicians to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical repairs Works with Sales teams to resolve customer issues as they arise and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction at all times Oversee Customer Service teams to respond promptly and efficiently to customer questions and problem solve issues Job Type:
